An unmanned aircraft, abbreviated as “UAV”, is an unmanned aircraft that is operated by radio-controlled equipment and self-contained programmed controls, or is operated autonomously by an on-board computer, either completely or intermittently. How do you operate a drone? A sample article written by a technical guru is here.
I. Takeoff and Landing Exercises
Takeoff and landing are the primary operations during flight, and although simple, their importance cannot be ignored. First of all, let's take a look at the takeoff process (here we omit the power on operation). Stay away from the drone, unlock the flight control, slowly push the throttle and wait for the drone to take off. Push the throttle slowly, even if you have already pushed it a little distance and the motor has not started yet, you have to do it slowly. This will prevent the drone from being unable to control due to too much throttle.
When landing, you also need to pay attention to the order of operation: lower the throttle, so that the aircraft slowly close to the ground; about 5-250px from the ground to slightly push the throttle to reduce the descending speed; and then lower the throttle again until the drone touches the ground (after touching the ground, you can not push the throttle); the throttle is lowered to the lowest, and lock the flight control. Compared to takeoff, landing is a more complicated process that requires repeated practice.
In the operation of takeoff and landing, you also need to pay attention to ensure the stability of the drone, and the swing of the vehicle should not be too large, otherwise there is a possibility of breaking the propeller when landing and taking off.
Lifting Exercise
Simple elevation exercises can not only exercise the throttle control, but also allow beginners to learn to stabilize the flight of the aircraft. When practicing, pay attention to the site has enough height, it is best to operate in the outdoor.
1. Ascending process
The ascent process is the process of the drone propeller speed increases and the drone rises. The main operating lever for this is the throttle operating lever. When practicing the rising operation, assume that you have already taken off and slowly push the throttle, at this time the drone will slowly rise, the more the throttle is pushed (don't push the throttle to the highest or close to the highest), the greater the rising speed.
2. Descent Exercise
The descent process is the opposite of the rise. When descending, the rotational speed of the propellers will decrease, and the drone will begin to lose altitude due to lack of lift. Before you start practicing descent, make sure the drone has reached a sufficient altitude, and start pulling down the throttle slowly when the vehicle has stabilized and stopped.
Pitching Exercise
Pitching practice is also a basic operation of flight. Pitch operation is used for the forward and backward operation of the UAV to ensure the correct flight of the vehicle.
1、Pitching Exercise
During the pitch operation, the head of the UAV will be slightly lowered and the tail will be raised. In response, the rotational speed of the propellers will be decreased for the two propellers in the head and increased for the propeller in the tail, and subsequently the force provided by the propellers will be at an angle to the horizontal plane. This provides the airplane with not only lift to counteract gravity, but also forward force. At this point the lift will also decrease, so the craft will be lowered and the throttle can be pushed appropriately.
2、Upward elevation exercise
The upward elevation exercise is similar to the dive operation, except that you need to pull the rocker backward from the center position. During the pulling process. The two propellers at the tail of the UAV will slow down the rotation speed, and the two propellers at the nose will speed up the rotation speed. A similar phenomenon to the dive operation will then occur, except that the drone will travel backwards.
Slowly pull down on the stick to stop pulling the stick when the vehicle starts to recede. At this point the vehicle will continue to recede. Once you have retreated some distance, slowly push the stick until it returns to the center position and stop pushing, at which point the vehicle will stop retreating and the upward tilt exercise is complete.
Drones are often better suited for tasks that are too “dumb, dirty or dangerous” than manned aircraft. UAVs can be categorized into military and civilian applications. Purdue International Aviation Technology (Dongguan) Co., Ltd. is located in Wanjiang District, Dongguan City, a new first-tier city, is a collection of research and development, production, sales, training as one of the comprehensive service platform for the drone, the company's products mainly include aerial photography drones, military drones, multi-rotor drones, emergency rescue drones, vertical take-off and landing fixed-wing drones, and other types of aircraft.
